We invite you to enjoy pleasant and varied fishing at the Stockasjöarna lakes. We hope you will have rewarding fishing and an enjoyable break in the countryside.
The Stockasjöarna lakes are part of the Öxabäck Fish Conservation Area, and are subject to special rules, since we stock with salmon and related species continuously throughout the year.
Please read the fishing regulations for the lakes carefully.

RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR GAME FISHING ON THE STOCKASJÖARNA LAKES
The aim of these fishing rules and instructions is to create a fair and pleasant fishing environment for everyone who visits the Stockasjöarna lakes. All anglers must make themselves familiar with the rules and instructions for the fishing.
Anyone who breaks the fishing rules will be banned from the fishery immediately.
General rules for both lakes:
• Fishing permits can be bought from the automatic machine at Mikaels Allköp store in Öxabäck, and are personal and not transferable. It is not permitted to fish with more than one rod at a time. The fishing permit must be displayed, and the angler’s forename and surname must be shown on the permit.
Price for one fishing permit 2009: 150 SEK.
• The bag limit is 3 salmon-type fish per permit. If you continue fishing after you have caught salmon-type fish, you will need to buy a new permit.
• Anyone under 15 years old accompanied by a parent or guardian may catch fish with their own rod, up to the limit of the parent or guardian’s fishing permit, i.e. the three fish allowed on the parent or guardian’s permit.
• OBSERVE that the lakes are CLOSED from 18'th of November 2008 until 1'th of March 2009. Ice fishing is prohibited!
Lilla Stockasjön:
• In Lilla Stockasjön lake, fly fishing and spinning are the only permitted methods. The rod in use must be held in the hand. Only one fly or lure may be attached to the line. Bubble floats and similar equipment are not permitted. Bait fishing is not permitted in this lake in any form.
• Boats, canoes or other flotation aids are not permitted.
Stora Stockasjön:
• Permitted fishing methods are fly fishing, spinning and bait fishing, which must be carried on in accordance with the general rules for the lakes. For bait fishing, only one hook is permitted.
• Float rings may be used. Other types of flotation, such as boats and canoes, are not permitted.
